Thailand Tourist Visa – Required Documents

Please prepare the following documents for your Thailand Tourist Visa application. Additional documents may be required depending on your profession and individual circumstances.

Common Required Documents — All Applicants

  • Passport: Must have at least 6 months’ validity from the date of entry into Thailand.
  • Recent Photograph: 1 soft copy, 35 × 45 mm, with a white background. Photo should be printed on glossy photo paper. Sunglasses, caps, T-shirts, and white clothing are not allowed.
  • Bank Statement: Original 6-month bank statement.
  • Bank Solvency Certificate: Original copy with a minimum balance of BDT 150,000 per person.
  • TIN Certificate: If available.
  • Income Tax Certificate & Tax Return: For the latest tax year, if available.
  • Previous Visa: Scanned copies of previous visas, if applicable.

Profession-Based Additional Documents

For Business Owners

  • Updated Trade License with notarization and English translation. Original Bangla copy with QR code is required.
  • Certificate of Incorporation and updated Memorandum & Articles of Association, including shareholder pages.
  • Latest Business Bank Statement & Solvency Certificate for the last 6 months, if available.
  • Visiting Card.
  • BIN Certificate / Company TIN Certificate.
  • Income Tax Certificate & Tax Returns for the latest tax year(s).
  • Company Letterhead / Business Pad: 2 blank copies.

For Employees

  • No Objection Certificate (NOC): Must clearly mention the intended travel dates.
  • Office ID Card: Copy of both sides.
  • Salary Slips / Salary Certificate: Last 2 months.
  • Visiting Card.
  • If the company is sponsoring the employee’s trip, an authorization/sponsorship letter from the company along with the required company documents.

For Doctors

  • BMDC Certificate: Notarized copy.
  • Visiting Card.
  • Prescription Pad: 2 copies.
  • NOC from Hospital/Employer: Must clearly mention the intended travel dates.
  • For private practitioners, a prescription pad showing professional practice details.

For Retired Applicants

  • Retirement Certificate: English version with notarization.
  • LPR Documents: If applicable.
  • Pension Book.

For Advocates

  • Bar Council Certificate: Notarized copy.
  • Visiting Card.

For Students

  • Student ID Card.
  • Leave/Holiday Certificate: Original letter from the school, college, or university.
  • Parents’ Sponsorship/Undertaking Letter: Required if travelling alone.
  • Parents’ Bank Statements & Solvency Certificate: Last 6 months, if travelling alone.
  • NID / Birth Certificate.
