Malaysia Tourist Visa – Required Documents

Please prepare the following documents for your Malaysia Tourist Visa application. Additional documents may be required depending on your profession and individual circumstances.

Common Required Documents (For All Applicants)

  • Passport with at least 6 months of validity from the date of entry into Malaysia.
  • 2 recent passport-size photographs with a white background, printed on glossy photo paper. Photo size: 35 × 50 mm. Sunglasses, caps, T-shirts, and white clothing are not allowed.
  • Original bank statements for the last 6 months and an original bank solvency certificate. Minimum bank balance required: BDT 150,000 per person.
  • TIN Certificate (if available).
  • Income Tax Certificate and Income Tax Return for the last year (if available).

Profession-Based Additional Documents for Tourist Visa

For Business Owners

  • Updated Trade License with notarization and English translation. Must include the original Bangla copy with a QR code.
  • Certificate of Incorporation and updated Memorandum and Articles of Association, including shareholder pages.
  • Latest Business Bank Statements and Bank Solvency Certificate for the last 6 months (if available).
  • Visiting card.
  • BIN Certificate of the company / TIN Certificate.
  • Income Tax Certificate and Income Tax Returns for the last year(s).
  • 2 blank copies of the business pad/company letterhead.

For Employees

  • No Objection Certificate (NOC) specifying the travel dates.
  • Copy of Office ID Card (both sides).
  • Salary slips or salary certificate for the last 2 months.
  • Visiting card.
  • If the company bears all travel expenses, an authorization letter from the company is required, along with the company’s supporting documents.

For Doctors

  • BMDC Certificate (notarized).
  • Visiting card.
  • 2 copies of the prescription pad.
  • NOC from the hospital, specifying the travel dates.
  • For private-practice doctors, a prescription pad is required.

For Retired Applicants

  • Copy of the Retirement Certificate (in English and notarized).
  • LPR documents (if applicable).
  • Pension Book.

For Advocates

  • Bar Council Certificate (notarized).
  • Visiting card.

For Students

  • Student ID Card.
  • Leave Certificate / Holiday Certificate from the school, college, or university (original copy).
  • Parents’ sponsorship/consent letter if travelling alone.
  • Parents’ bank statements and bank solvency certificate for the last 6 months if travelling alone.
  • NID / Birth Certificate.
